It takes a courageous heart to explore intermediate poses. Come to this workshop to learn and practice the skill, strength and focus required to properly engage in arm balances, backbends, and inversion practice.
In this first module we will focus on hands, arms, and shoulders while practicing poses like bakasana, parsva bakasana urdhva dhanurasana, and salamba sirsasana and their variations. You'll be coached on proper breathing and drishti (gaze) during postures. Through demonstration, partner work, and props we will gain more skill and confidence to practice these poses with clarity and confidence.
Prerequisite: an open heart and an injury-free body. Please leave your ego at the door.
